Justin Chesnut, 29, of Lubbock passed away January 17, 2022. The family will receive guests from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

Justin was born on March 19, 1992 in Midland, Texas to Cynthia and Anthony Chesnut. Justin loved to work on “junkie” cars. He was a great mechanic. He would help anybody and everybody. Justin was an amazing crane operator, one of the youngest in west Texas. Justin was so funny, always wanted to be the funniest guy in the room, which he was most of the time. Justin was one of a kind that touched so many peoples’ lives.

Justin is survived by his wife, Ashley; daughter, Aubrey, daughter Layden, daughter Maddalyn, son Gunner; parents, Anthony/Pam Chesnut; brother Andrew/Falyn Chesnut, sister Sarah/Aaron Cooper, brother Christopher Blakeney, brother Brady Harris; multiple brothers from another mothers. (In law)

Justin is preceded in death by mom Cindy/John Blakeney, Nana Dorothy Chesnut, PaPa Donald Rowan, uncle Allen Chesnut, and uncle Jessie Pritchard.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards friends and family, coworkers, neighbors, everybody who has reached out.

Justin Was such a kind soul. I loved him like a son an he was & always will be Loved by me & my Family. I am so thankful for my Beautiful Granddaughter he blessed this Earth an all who know & love her. Aubrey Chesnut & Us all will see you in Heaven. We love you Justin.

You all are in my heart and prayers. I knew Aubrey and her mom. I send my deepest condolences. Justin looks like he was a kind gentle soul. Wish I could have met him in person. R.I.P. Justin you will be missed.
