Michael “Mike” Hambrick, 49 of Midland, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. The
family will receive guests from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle &
Welch Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, December 6, 2021 at
Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Mike was born on September 2, 1972 in Alpine, Texas to Ricka and Dennis Hambrick. Mike
lived out his childhood years with his brothers Robert and Phillip, in Crane Texas before
graduating from Crane High School in 1991. After graduating from high school he traveled
across the states doing electrical before settling down in Midland Texas where he met and
married the love of his life Christi. They had 3 girls, Sterling, Murphy and Taylor. Everyone who
knows him, knows that he was a diehard Texas Longhorns fan. Mike loved both his work and
personal family. Mike’s pride and joys are his 3 daughters and 3 grandkids, Lennox, Brooklynn
and Matthew.
Mike is survived by wife Christi, 3 daughters, Sterling, Murphy and Taylor. Parents Dennis and
Ricka Hambrick. Brother Robert Hambrick and his son Blake, Brother Phillip and wife Jaimie and
their daughters, Makenna and Addison. 3 grandbabies Lennox, Brooklynn and Matthew. And
Aunts and uncles.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents on both his father’s and mother’s side, 2 cousins
and his Uncle George.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards everyone who has reached out and
given their love and support during this difficult time.
Family is requesting for anyone who is able to attend if possible wear something Texas
Longhorns or burnt orange.

It was truly a pleasure working with Mike for almost 3 years. I was saddened to hear that passed away. We are missing Mike along with you. With heartfelt sympathy.

Mike was a friend and a funny guy whom I shared many laughs with. He is and will be missed. May God comfort his love ones during this time of loss.

Deepest sympathy to Christi, Sterling, Murphy, Grand babies, Baily, Rika, and Dennis. I am so grateful that Mike was apart of my life. There were a lot of laughs over the years. It just doesn't seem real that he has left us. The tears have not stopped. I will miss him, our talks, our friendship. He will forever be in my heart. I consider myself blessed to have called him friend. I wish you all peace during this time.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to cousin Ricka, her husband, Dennis, their sons and Michael's family. A tragedy to lose a loved one so young. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come.

I moved to Crane in ‘72 and met Ricka and Dennis a few years after being there. Ricka babysitter for my boys I am so very sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. Prayers for all the family

I knew Mike from working with him at Lowes he was a very sweet reliable man. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. I know his family and they are the sweetest people and he loved each and every one of them. He was very proud to have 3 beautiful girls and 3 grandchildren and be with his wife. He will be missed. Sorry for your loss 😭

Having known “Miguel“ for close to 30 years, it broke my heart to hear of his passing. Mike was one of the good guys and will be forever missed beyond measure. I will never see or hear anything having to do with UT Longhorns and not be reminded of him & his smile.
