Tera Dawn Crossland, 37, of Odessa passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Services will be 2:00pm Monday, September 20, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Odessa with Pastor James McCreary, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Tera was born on September 11, 1984 in Odessa, TX to Archie and Kelly Crossland. She spent her childhood in Odessa and Crane, TX. On March 23, 2001 her son, Nathaniel “Nate” Silvas was born. Nate was Tera’s pride and joy, they were inseparable. She was a dedicated mother and worked hard to provide for her son. On October 1, 2017 Nate passed away. Now, Tera is finally at peace and reunited with her son.

Tera is survived by her father Archie R. and wife Lisa Crossland, mother Kelly Crossland; sisters Bridget Crossland and Krystal Davis; grandmother Ellen Beaman; grandfather Tommy Cronk; grandparents, NaNa and Tucker; nieces Lexi Crossland and Avery Anna Tarin; and great-nephew Jaxton Gonzales; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tera is preceded in death by her son Nathaniel Silvas and grandparents Larry Beaman, Patricia Beaman, Archie D. Crossland, and Naomi Crossland.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Kamali, Jonathan Gonzales, Brandon Boss, Daton Linder, Alex Contreras, and Chris Contreras.

You are missed everyday. We talked about what the plan was if I went first but we didn’t talk about you going to heaven first. You use to say you and Nate were each others #1 fan. I feel like I lost my biggest fan, my biggest supporter, my go to, my voice of reason and more than anything the person who knew me better than anyone, my pain, the good, bad and all between, my dearest friend. You were the best friend anyone could ever have. I was truly blessed to have an Angel on Earth that was my truest friend. I love you Tera Dawn and I’ve been so mad since you left this Earth. I know you wouldn’t want that but one person can only be so sad. I miss you friend. Give my baby a biiiiiiggggggg kissssssss for me and tell him I love him the mostest!!

Tera, you were such an inspiration. The good you always saw in people and the infectious smile you had. You will be soo missed. The best boss anyone could work for. Now with your beautiful son you missed so dearly. Our thoughts and prayers for your family.

I never had the chance to personally meet Tera but we did talk on the phone and text. She was always so helpful and understanding. She was very sweet and kind. Tera you will be missed
