Great neighbor and friend. Jake will be missed greatly as Barbara was missed when she died last year. May many blessings and love surround Erin and family. May God's love and strength carry Jake's family thru this sadness. I share their loss.

Jake was a great teammate at TWC and a fine SAE fraternity brother. Barbara was a good friend and a ZTA sorority sister for my first wife, Donna. Barbara and Jake attended our daughter, Jennifer's wedding just two months after Donna's death in 1987. Their attendance meant a great deal to all of our family, but they were just that kind of folks. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Jake, I know you are with us in spirit and you will be remembered by one and all of the TWC Miner Hall group when we gather in September in El Paso for a reunion and memorial in memory of all of your TWC brothers and sisters during the 1958-1962 years that have passed on and are waiting with open arms to great you! Rest in peace dear brother, we will always remember you, the bigger than life Center on our football teams of those years. Say hello to John the old quarterback that you shared so many triumphs with - he has saved a place on the playing field for you and is waiting for you to snap the ball again.
