Jimmy Ray Horton, 76, of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.
Jimmy was born September 12, 1944 in Big Spring, Texas to James Arthur Horton and Wanda Lou Pearce. He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. He joined the United States Navy August 17, 1965 and served four years. He married Samantha Copeland. He worked at the VA Medical Center in housekeeping and retired after many of years of service. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Samantha and a son Timothy and his girlfriend Jennifer Hernandez, two sisters, Nora Boiles and husband Troy and Jo Anne Armstrong, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
