Samuel Cade Wolf, 24, of Midland, TX, went to be with the Lord on May 12th, 2018. A visitation will be held 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland. Funeral service will be held 10:00am Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Josh Naylor of Renew Life Church. Interment will follow at American Heritage Cemetery in Midland. Pallbearers for the service will be, Tyler Brooks, Colton Willett, Tanner McCracken, Kyle Sims, Chandler Smith, Josh Niblett, and John Lobaugh.Sam was born on June 2nd, 1993 in Midland, TX to Bart and Laurie Wolf. Sam attended Midland schools where he excelled at football, basketball, and soccer. He graduated from Midland High School in 2012 and was a member of the FFA. He also attended Midland College and South Plains in Lubbock, TX. He was currently employed with Bosworth Company working toward his Journeyman’s License.Sam loved to play outside as a child as well as an adult. He and Tyler Brooks honed their skateboard and trick bike skills while somewhat terrorizing the neighborhood. Sam loved wake boarding but his favorite hobby was snowboarding with Colton Willet and the gang. He also enjoyed riding his new 4-wheelers with Kody Martindale.Sam met the love of his life, Rachel Ward, in 2017. This relationship brought about a fulfillment and completeness in the both of them. They loved to travel. They are expecting a baby in December of 2018. They are members of Renew Life Church. Their relationship had brought them closer to God. Sam loved Jesus and was actively deepening his relationship with Christ.Sam is survived by his parents Bart and Laurie Wolf, loving sister Hannah Sims and husband Kyle Sims, his nephew Easton, his beloved pup Diesel Wolf, the love of his life Rachel Rose Ward and his unborn child.Sam is preceded in death by grandmother Janice Wolf, grandfather Leo Blackburn, and grandmother Jo Blackburn Davis “Mimi”.Memorial Donations may be made to the Martindale Family.
