Kay Roberts, 69, of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at her residence after a long illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Brad Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born March 9, 1951 in Crowell, Texas to Glen “Tiny” and Vonnie Taylor. She married Neal Roberts June 7, 1969 in Wellington, Texas.
Kay graduated from Wellington High School in 1969 and moved to Big spring in 1972. She was co-owner and manager of Neal’s Sporting Goods from 1989 to 1996. She enjoyed traveling and loved watching all the events her grandchildren were involved in.
Survivors include her husband, Neal Roberts; three sons, Michael Roberts and wife, Jessica, Ross Roberts and wife, Jody, and Jason Roberts and wife, Cindy; a son-in-law, Jake Timmons and wife, Tracy; 14 grandchildren, Sawyer Roberts and wife, Hailey, Kaylee Roberts, Makenzie Roberts, Carlie Roberts, Jayden Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Jordan Roberts, Bailey Timmons, Keeley Timmons, Bryson Roberts, Stetson Timmons and Rody Timmons; five sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kayla Timmons; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Francis and Hughetta Roberts; and a sister-in-law, Vina Marchant.
Pallbearers will be Sawyer Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Jordan Roberts and Bryson Roberts.
