Christopher John Hieb, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Midland, TX.Chris was born on February 19, 1958 in Vallejo, CA to Jack and Laura Anne Hieb. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Laura Anne Hieb, his brother, Jim Hieb, and his sister, Renee Driscoll. He is survived by his spouse, Linda Lee Hieb, and his children James Hieb, Sarah Hieb Mayer, and Donnie Hieb. He is also survived by his brothers Steve Hieb and Larry Hieb, and his granddaughters, Chloe and Danni.Chris was proud to say he was a Veteran, even though he served for only a short time. He was a resident of Midland, TX for the last 28 years. He graduated from UTPB with a bachelor’s degree in Art before going on to work as the Graphic Designer for Midland College for 17 years.He had a love of fishing, something that he shared with his sons. He was passionate about baseball, with the Texas Rangers being his all-time favorite team. He also had a passion for Art and loved to stargaze.A memorial service will be held at Indulgence Catering, 4906 Briarwood, Midland, TX 79707, on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
