Janet Ruth Cook, 68, of Big Spring, died Monday, January 1, 2018 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Private family interment services will be at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM Saturday until service time at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.She was born January 24, 1949 in Odessa, Texas and married Nobe Ronald Cook February 27, 1974 in Goldsmith, Texas.Survivors include her husband, Ron Cook of Big Spring; two daughters, Amy Tiffany and husband, Paul of Thompsons Station, Tennessee and Lisa Long and husband, Rick of Staunton, Virginia; two sons, David Brian Cook of Big Spring and Ronald Cook and wife, Janice of Fisherville, Virginia; one brother, Leo Cloud and wife, Sue of Odessa; grandchildren, Brigham Tiffany, Ethan Tiffany Chyler Tiffany, Kymathy Tiffany, Joshua Tiffany, Taelyn Tiffany, Ronnie Cook, Charlie Cook and wife, Judy and three great grandchildren, Stazia Cook, Aisley Cook and Brisa Cook.She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Dorothy Way Cloud; one sister, Peggy Greenfield; and one brother, Bobby Cloud.The family suggests memorials to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, VUMC Gifts and Donor Service, 3322 West End Ave, Suite 900, Nashville, TN 37203-1197 or to a charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
