Fred W. Earhart

Fred W. Earhart, 56, of Abilene, formerly of Big Spring, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born August 20, 1960 in Big Spring to Glen R. Earhart and Dorothy Echols Earhart.Fred attended school in Big Spring and Abilene. He participated in Special Olympics for many years and loved bowling and swimming. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys.He had the sweetest smile and a laugh that we will never forget.Survivors include two sisters, Jan Havens and husband, R. G. of Kalgary and Dee Thomi of Dallas; three brothers, Gary Earhart of Stanton, Dick Earhart of Big Spring and Max Earhart of Hobbs, New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Fred was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mark Earhart and Joe Earhart.The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Boston House and Continental House for taking special care of Fred.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics, 401 West Texas Ave., Suite 507, Midland, Texas 79701.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
