Betty Louise Wales, 75, of Big Spring, died Friday, March 10, 2017 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Funeral Home.Betty was born November 13, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas and married Ronnie Wales February 25, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death December 24, 2011. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Big Spring and was a happy homemaker.She is survived by her daughter, Valorie Johnson of Shreveport, Louisiana; a sister, Annette Hodnett of Big Spring; two nieces, Angela Solis of Dripping Springs, and Stacey Kushaney of Stanton, one nephew, Russell Hodnett of Big Spring, and several great nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Louise (Hale) Boykin; and a nephew, Craig Hodnett.The family suggests memorials be made to the Fresenius Kidney Care Center, 501 Birdwell Lane, Big Spring, Texas 79720.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
