Jackson Carl Baker, 6 months, of Midland became one of God’s angels on Monday, May 11, 2015. The family will be accepting guests at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel on Saturday, May 16, 2015 with Dr. John Gerlach and Gerald Bastin officiating.Jackson was welcomed into his parents’ loving arms on November 3, 2014. Although his time here with us was short, his memory will always be cherished by his entire family and numerous friends. Jackson had a smile that was contagious and a very happy personality. He loved to giggle and kick non-stop-which also made it impossible to keep his socks on. Although his mom, Lynn, loved to dress him up, Jackson would fight her the entire time! He inherited his love of the Dallas Cowboys from both of his parents, but especially from his daddy, Trey. Jackson loved to watch cartoons and spend time with the family’s puppies, Tiffany and Kingston. One of his favorite things was his pacifier “monkey”; it was always very rare to see him without it when he was out shopping with his mom. He was a very easy-going baby that could light up an entire room. God’s light was visible through his precious smile and big blue eyes. “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14Jackson is survived by his parents, Carl Eugene “Trey” Baker III and Lynn Baker; maternal grandparents, Arthur “Gerry” and Sandra Jackson; paternal grandparents, Carl E., Jr. and Debbie Baker; Uncle, Arthur Jackson; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Jackson; paternal great-grandmother, Donna Noland Keele; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations have been requested in honor of Jackson’s life.
