On the 20th of November, 1996, God sent a special blessing to John and Lora Fergerson in the form of a bouncing baby boy they named Marcus Don. After 17 short years, on November 11, 2014, we all had to say goodbye for a time. From the beginning, his cute freckled face, sparkling blue eyes and sweet smile captured our hearts. As a toddler he loved to play in the dirt with his many, many trucks, and loved music from an early age. Once in school, you could usually find him on a t-ball or football field, but soccer proved to be the sport he excelled in. He will be remembered by his soccer buddies as a winning member of the team. During his early teens he discovered a passion for music and developed a desire to be a producer. He was a self-taught master of the mixing board, creating his own sounds and style. He loved being at home and enjoyed the many hours shared with his two brothers, Zane and Brooks. To them he was a fun-loving guy with a keen sense of humor. If you were a close friend of Marcus' you knew what friendship meant. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Bellview Baptist Church. The next time you hear loud noises from heaven, it just might be Marcus producing his own music.A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at Bellview Baptist Church celebrating the life of Marcus Don Fergerson. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at My Community Federal Credit Union or a donation to The American Diabetes Association. He is survived by his parents John and Lora Fergerson and his brothers Zane and Brooks. His grandparents, Don Fergerson of Vega, Texas, Peter and LaDon Blair of Midland, Texas, Ted Herring of Plainview, Texas. Marcus leaves many loving Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. His many friends are hurting and remembering the good times. Our hearts are broken, but our faith is strong.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com,
