Lupe Aleman \Chita\ Fierro, 91, of Barstow, fromerly of Big Spring, died Monday, May 12, 2014 in a Pecos nursing home. Vigil services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.She was born April 6, 1923 in Big Spring, Texas and married Frank Fierro, Sr. He preceded her in death April 27, 1970.She loved to garden and cook.Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Ormon of Irving and Sandra Muniz and husband, Adolfo of Barstow; four grandchildren, Marlina Fierro Reese, Shannon Ormon, Dana Fierro Rieland and Tommy Ormon, Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by her parents, Fidencio and Lupe Garcia Aleman; and two sons, Ismael Valdez, Jr. and Frank Fierro, Jr.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
