Doris Ann Hughes, 76, of Midland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014 with her family by her side.Doris was born on October 21, 1937 in Stonewall, OK, the daughter of the late Wylie and Estelle Moss. She married Marvin Hughes on November 21, 1992 in Midland. She had love and compassion for reading, sewing and spending all the time she could with her great-grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Marvin of Midland; her only daughter, Tanya Evans of Midland; three grandchildren, Brandy Evans Montgomery and husband Dee of Midland; Reesa Evans Moore and husband Beau of Midland; Angie Sparger of Ten Sleep, Wyoming; five great-grandchildren; Jayden Evans, Khloe Montgomery, Connor Moore, Mason Moore, and Tatum Williams; sister Jane Meacham of Junction; a niece and nephew; and her children’s father, Olen Eugene Sparger.Preceding Doris in death and awaiting her arrival up above is her mother, Estelle Reed, her father, Wylie Moss and her son, Steve Eugene Sparger.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle and Welch in Midland, Texas. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Doris will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Serenity Memorial Gardens in Midland, Texas with Rev.
