Nancy Kimble, 76, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Mt. Olive Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. Ulis Johnson, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. She was born January 29, 1938 in Oakhurst, Texas and married Theo Kimble in October 1956 in Galveston, Texas. He preceded her in death May 30, 1981. Nancy moved to Big Spring in 1967 to work at the Big Spring State Hospital, retiring in 1999. She volunteered at the State Hospital and was always giving to help others anyway she could. She is survived by three daughters, Cecilia Simmons and husband, Bobby Barnett, Olivia Kimble and husband, Billy Clemons and Yvonne Foster and husband, Bernell all of Big Spring; one son, Cornell Kimble and wife, Mary Ann of Big Spring; three sisters, Jossie Pickney of Daily City, California, Mary Fields of San Francisco, California and Carolyn McNeil of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mattie Jenkins; one sister, Cloria Hardin and one brother, Joe Jenkins, Jr..
