Charlene White

Charlene White, 74, of Big Spring, died Friday, January 17, 2014 in a Stanton nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Tommy Akin, officiating. She was born October 16, 1939 in Carlsbad, New Mexico and married Perry Lee White, Sr. April 10, 1957 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death July 28, 2006. She and her husband were inseparable and she was known as his “right hand”. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by five sons, Perry White, Jim Bob White, Jerry White, Larry White and Dalton White; three brothers; two sisters; nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward and Olive Ethel Boone Bandy; three daughters, Darlene Sheldon, Paula Joyce White and Dusta Jean White; and one son Charles Lee White.
