Vincent James Pashilk, 58 went to join his beloved wife, Meri Ellen Pashilk in heaven on December 27, 2013. Vincent, a resident of Midland for over 17 years was born in Colorado Springs, CO on May 6, 1955 to Zita and Stephen Pashilk.A salesman at heart, Vincent sold medical equipment for many years and most recently oil field equipment. Vincent, or Vicious Vince’s first love was his local salsa business, Vicious Vince’s Salsa. He prided himself on spicing up life and building relationships with his customers and friends using his trademark handlebar moustache as a calling card.Vincent was a proud papa and a beloved father of four. Of all his numerous accomplishments his children remain his pride and joy. Vincent is survived by Courtney Leigh Pashilk of Santa Rosa, CA; Kate Marie Butterfield, wife of Justin Butterfield of Lakenheath, United Kingdom; Julia Rose Pashilk, and Thomas Emerson Pashilk both of Greenwood, TX. He is also survived by his twin sister Cynthia Jane Wood of Alpine, TX and her family; John Stephen Pashilk of Sebastopol, CA and wife Diane; and Ann Louise Shavers of Comfort, TX and family. Vincent will be greatly loved and missed by all of his friends and family.Vincent will be welcomed into heaven with open arms by his lovely wife Meri Pashilk; Father Stephen Pashilk; mother Zita Pashilk; brother Thomas Bernard Pashilk, sister Rozanne Pashilk; and best friend Travis Michael Zuberbueler.Vincent led a life of faith and generosity. He made donations to many local and national charities such as, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Special Olympics, Knights of Columbus, American Cancer Society, West Texas Food Bank, Food for the Poor Inc, MADD, and others. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to any of the aforementioned charities.Memorial Services to be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland, Texas at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at the church.,
