Patsy Ruth Barron

Patsy Ruth "Pat" Barron, 83, of Round Rock, died Monday, June 11, 2012, in a Round Rock nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Lamesa Memorial Park, Lamesa, Texas, with Rev. Gerald Parsons, officiating. Pat was born on October 1, 1928, in Bronte, Texas and married J. L. Barron January 15, 1949 in Dawson County, Texas. He preceded her in death July 7, 2008. They lived in Lamesa and moved to Forsan where she was a Postal Clerk for over 17 years. In 2007 she moved to Round Rock.She was a Baptist and a faithful Christain lady.Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Cohorn and husband, J. V. of Round Rock; one grandson, Jon Alan Cohorn and wife, Vanessa of Austin; one granddaughter, Cari Ann Cohorn and husband, Kevin Pacotti of Hercules, California; one great granddaughter, Alyssa Cohorn and one great grandson, Liam McLellan. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jay Lynn Barron. The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Carolyn Brooks, P.O.
