Wayne Pace, 67, of Midland, died on Monday, January 9, 2012, at his residence. No services are scheduled. He was born on March 11, 1944, in Bunkie, Louisiana, and married Marilyn Clark on March 30, 1979, in Lovington, New Mexico.He grew up and graduated from Snyder High School and served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1965. Wayne moved to Midland in 1987 from Snyder and was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Pace of Midland; mother, Inez Pace of Snyder; two daughters & son-in-laws, Kailynn Hudson and husband Doug of Bridgeport, and Kelly Wurtz and husband Chris of Houston; three sons & daughter-in-laws, Cory Pace and wife Martha of Lubbock, Texas, Darren Pace and wife Sandra of Marysville, Washington, and Eric Pace of San Antonio; two brothers & sister-in-law, Charlie Pace and wife Joyce Ann of Snyder and Jerry Pace of Louisiana; twelve grandchildren, Dalton and Katie Hudson, Kavani and Kaitlyn Zimmerman, Ashley and Kendra Pace, Jonathan Freeman, Chris & Kyle Pace, and Aaron and MaKayla Pace; and a great granddaughter, Halee Freeman.He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Bowie Pace.
