Suzanne Cook Vera Cruz, 56, of Midland, died Saturday July 2, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday @ 11 A.M. July 7, 2011 at First United Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Viewing will be held from 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.She was born August 21, 1954, in Pasadena, Texas.Sue married May 18, 1973 right after her high school graduation. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 2001 from Midland College. Survivors include husband, Gilbert Vera Cruz, 3 sons Mike, Chris and Pat Vera Cruz all of Midland, father AJ Cook, two brothers Mack Cook and Alan Cook, six grandchildren Aiyana, Micah, Skylar, Hailea, Madiysun and Jordan Vera Cruz.She was preceded in death by her brother Frank and mother Joyce Cook.She will never be forgotten, and always loved by those who knew her….Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
