I am so thankful to have had the great pleasure of knowing Blake Raulston. He was such an extraordinary person with the biggest heart. His laughter lit up this school and lifted spirits every day that he was here. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone and looked at the world in such a beautiful way. His artwork is just a manifestation of his personality, colorful, fun and eccentric. My condolences go out to his family and friends. He is so loved and will be extreamly missed. Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, "Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?" If this is truley the case, Blake will live on..forever and ever!

I was a medic at champion motor speedway. I never had the chance to meet Blake personally but when I heard the news of his passing, I was sad. To have such a talented young life lost from a accident. I wanted to offer my prayers for all of his friends and family. May he continue to race on god's race track now.

It is with deepest sympathy that I send my condolences to the Raulston family and to all of my students who knew and loved Blake. I had the privilege of being Blake's English teacher for a couple of years at Midland Academy. He brought so much joy to MACS and always brightened my day. Blake always greeted me with a huge smile and never passed by me without greeting me with such a kind and sincere, "Good morning, Mrs. Martinez.," even if I saw him ten times a day at school. Blake always knew how to light up the classroom. He was passionate about life and made it a point each day to make us all laugh and smile. Manners were very important to Blake and he knew how to use them and make you feel special. I'll never forget how Blake could draw a crowd around him. It was his positive energy that many students were attracted to. Even after Blake left MACS, he still kept in touch with me and many other teachers at MACS and was always so thankful for everything he learned; he expressed this to me many times. It was always such a joy when Blake visited us at MACS and shared his new adventures in life. I will never forget you, Blake!

When I would see Blake around it would always make me smile because I knew that the positive energy he was so full of would rub off on me and I would have a better day just saying hi. My oldest daughter and him were very good friends for many years. And he was always there for her no matter what. I would substitute at his school and when I would have him in class he was the class clown. He always knew how to turn someone's bad day into a really good day. He is so missed beyond any kind of explanation. We love you Blake. And you have touched so many hearts and lives. Rest in Peace sweet boy!
