Mrs. Frank (Sue) Arner, 79, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Wanda Hill, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Coahoma, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on December 5, 1922 in Bowie, Texas and married Frank Arner on November 13, 1945 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1987. Mrs. Arner had lived in Big Spring since 1931. She had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as a service representative for 33 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Big Spring, a member of the Couple's Sunday School Class, the Reba Thomas Circle of United Methodist Women and the Golden Link. Survivors include one niece, Sue Born of Big Spring; four nephews, Tommy Vastine of San Leandro, California, Joe Ewing of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, David Ewing of San Diego, California and Jimmy Arner of Waco; numerous great nieces and nephews; several great great nieces and nephews and one great great great niece. She was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother. The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church, P.O.
