Arthur ValenciaArturo Subia Valencia, 61, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 in Midland. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Resthaven Memorial Park. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2006 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.Arturo was born August 8, 1945 in Big Spring. He married Petra M. Valencia and had two sons, Robert and Art Valencia of Austin and a granddaughter, Jenna Valencia of Midland. His beloved wife passed on July 29, 2001.Arturo owned and operated several businesses, ASV Painting Inc. and Royal Furniture Restoration, both located in Midland.Survivors include his wife, Maria of Midland; three sons. Robert and Art Valencia of Austin and Frank Salizar of Arlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Benny Lopez of Arlington, a granddaughter, Jenna Valencia of Midland; a great granddaughter, Alyssa Tourville; and several brothers and sisters.Arturo was preceded in death by his parents. Sabino F. and Apolonia Valencia.Arturo will be missed by all. But know that God needed another angel and he is at peace.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
