Vlasta E. Divis, 86, of Stanton, formerly of Seaton died on Sunday, March 6, 2005, in a Stanton nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Seaton Brethren Church. Interment will follow at Seaton Community Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, Monday March 7, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mrs. Divis was born on November 29, 1919, in Bell County, Texas, and married Joseph Steven Divis in Bell County, Texas. He preceded her in death in December 1988. She grew up in Bell County, Texas. She worked at Scott and White Hospital in the laundry for a number of years. She then returned to school and became a nursing assistant and worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Temple until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Seaton Brethren Church. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Anna and Randy Reid of Loop,Texas; her grandson, Steven and Mendy Drgac of Odessa, Texas; one great granddaughter, Dakota Drgac of Ft. Stockton, Texas and one great grandson, Jerian Logan Drgac of Odessa, Texas. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Joseph Drgac on may 15, 1994.
