Jimmy Lee Paul, Sr., 37, of Sand Springs, died on Saturday, November 1, 2003, in an oil field accident near Midland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Arnold Tonn, pastor of Spring Tabernacle Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born on March 29, 1966, in Big Spring, Texas. Jimmy was raised in Big Spring and attended school in Coahoma. He worked many years on oil rigs, was a mechanic and was always working with his hands and building things from scratch. He had also worked as a roofer. He loved to barbecue, fish and just being outdoors.Jimmy was a loving husband, father, son and brother, and his family always came first. He enjoyed playing with his kids and teaching them the many aspects of life. He taught them about plants and animals. He would try his best to teach them anything they would like to know. He had a good sense of humor and was an overall fun person with many stories to tell. He will always be remembered and loved very much. Jimmy was the greatest.Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Kilman Paul of Sand Springs; six children, Jimmie Lee Paul, Jr., Jonathan Wayne Paul, Harley Lane Paul, Laranda Lee Paul, Keylee Makay Paul and Samantha Marie Paul all of Sand Springs; his mother, Mary Paul of Sand Springs; one sister, Peggy Logan and husband, Bobby, of Iowa Park; three brothers, Frank Paul and wife, Gayla, of Abilene, Wayne Paul and wife, Bobbie, of Midland, and Ernie Paul of Sand Springs. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie E. Paul and an infant daughter, Katlyn Marie Paul.The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
