M. D. Hall, 82, of Stanton, died on Monday, October 15, 2001 in a Big Spring hospital. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 18th, 2001 at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton with Rev. David Harp, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. He was born on April 1, 1919 in Hermleigh, Texas and married Doris Price on October 12, 1940 in Loraine, Texas. He came to the Stanton Community 47 years ago. He was a retired farmer and owned and operated Hall's Ornamental Iron. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Hall had served in the United States Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Doris Hall of Stanton, a son and daughter-in-law, John and Debi of Lubbock; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and J.T. Springer of Lenorah; a sister, Lou Ellen Walker of Stanton; eight grandchildren, Vicki Houston, Tommy Dee Turner, Amber Wernli, Ellesa Gailey, Angie Hall, Josh Hall, T. Springer and Tyler Springer and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Turner Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.,
