James, Troy Walter, was born in Big Spring, Texas, to Lee Roy and Pearl James, February 20, 1936. He went to be with the Lord and his family on September 8, 2000 at University of Texas Medical Center in Galveston, Texas. Troy was preceded in going home to be with the Lord by his grandparents, Tom and Jane Keith and Tommy and Sarah James; his parents, Lee Roy and Pearl James; his son, Troy Richard James; one sister, Darlene James; eight uncles, Jesse, Jeff, Bill, Tommy, Marvin, Melvin, George, and Luther; four aunts, Irene, Era, Josephine and Estelle; and five cousins, Ray, Chester, Bucky, Buster and Randy. Troy is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Jeanie; one daughter, Linda Lee James; one brother, Tommy James; two sisters, Mary Sue and Della; two sisters-in-law, Ivamae and Shirley; fourteen nephews, James, Steven, Jon, Billy, Troy, Steve, Zane, Tyler, Brandon, Dylan, Eli, Michael, Thomas and Christopher; eight nieces, Christi, Traci, Teresa, Amie, Kacee, Amanda, Kemi and Jennifer; and his cousins, Oliver, Dot and family, Donald Lee and family, Raymond, Pearl and family, Belva and family, Penny and family, Corkey and family, J.C., Jeanie and family, Joyce and family and Sylvia and family Troy was loved very much by his family and will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with Dr. Randy Cotton, minister of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.
