Hinton, Margaret, 81, of Big Spring, died on Friday, September 8, 2000, at her home in Big Spring. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, September 11, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Margarent was born on June 20, 1919 in Ashland, Texas and married Huland O. Hinton on August 5, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1971. She had worked as a florist for 40 years in Houston until she retired. Mrs. Hinton moved to Big Spring in 1983 to live with her sister and brother-in-law Letha and David Duke. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include: one sister Letha Duke of Big Spring, one great nephew Blake Torrence of Bedias, Texas and his children Kacey and Colt Torrence, and several nephews, neices, and cousins Mrs. Hinton was also preceded in death by her parents William and Maude Kersey, and one sister Ruth Click. The family suggests memorials be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund or the Mission Fund, 810 E. 11th Place, Big Spring, Texas, 79720.
