Ikey Joe Hare

Hare, Ikey Joe, 53, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, August 3, 2000, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2000, at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. He was born on November 11, 1946 in Big Spring, Texas. Mr. Hare worked at Cornell Corrections as a prison guard and had achieved the rank of corporal. He also worked as a carpenter and did maintenance on Dr. Ron Cohorn's rent houses. He was a Christian and had served in the United States Army for 4 years. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Ginger Hare of Valdosta, Georgia and numerous nephews.
