Doris Wozencraft

Wozencraft, Doris, 79, of Denver, Colorado, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2001, in a Denver nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2001, at Mt. Olive Memorial Park with Rev. Walter McCall, Chaplain at Community Care Hospice in Big Spring, officiating. She was born on September 29, 1921 in Hastings, Oklahoma. Ms. Wozencraft graduated from Midland High School in 1938. She worked for Bell Telephone Company in Abilene and Denver, Colorado. She had lived in Denver since 1942 and had completed her career as a secretary in the finance department at Lowery Air Force Base, Colorado. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Fred Franklin of Big Spring; two nephews, Fred Franklin, Jr. of Brownwood and Thomas Wozencraft of Fort Smith, Arkansas and two nieces, Lynda Wood and Mrs.Jacque (Kristi) Hyatt both of Midland. The family suggests memorials to: Midway Baptist Church, Building Fund, 6200 S. Service Road, Big Spring, Texas 79720. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
