Sometimes in life, we could all use a little reminder of how it feels to come home. When you walk through the doors of our Welch Reception Center in Big Spring, you’ll experience this for yourself.

For over 30 years, Ernest and Mary Lynn Welch called this beautiful house their home, as they raised four children and later welcomed five grandchildren, including Nalley-Pickle & Welch Owner Kasi Welch Baker. Kasi remembers spending many days and nights at her grandparents’ home, having tea parties with “MeMe” and making mud pies in the backyard. As she says, “The house is grand, yet so warm, comforting, and inviting. I want everyone to feel the sense of love I always felt walking through the front door.”

Today, having been completely restored to its original beauty, the Welch Reception Center has become a beloved event venue in our community. With every modern amenity you could need or want, including a catering kitchen and elegant décor, the abundant space boasts a comfortable setting perfect for a funeral reception, party, or civic gathering. Plus, since our team handles all of the set up and clean up, loved ones can focus on making memories here – just as our own family has done for generations.
