Kenneth Ray Early, 67, of Big Spring, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.Kenneth was born May 16, 1949 in Abilene and married Maggy Bacolod Monday, January 5, 2009 in Reyjavik, Iceland.He was in the United States Marine Corp. from December 1969 to November 1971. He worked 41 years as an airline mechanic and retired June 30, 2012 from Continental Airlines. He loved international travel which is how he met his wife in Iceland.Kenneth is survived by his wife, Maggy Bacolod of Big Spring; a son, Jason Early and wife, Robin; a daughter, Shawna Simmons; two grandchildren, Courtney and Emily Simmons all of Austin; two brothers, David Early, and wife Kerin of Wisconsin, and Johnny Early of Austin.He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Jannie Early and a brother, Jim Early.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
