- Marie Wells, 81, of Midland passed away on March 8, 2009 at the Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Skaggs of Kelview Heights Baptist Church and Rev. Stephen Willis of Temple Baptist Church, officiating.
Marie was born on April 15, 1929 to Bruce and Josie Redmon in Cement, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Wells of Midland; son Larry Wells and wife Scherry Wells, of Austin; three sisters, Sue Lytle of Midland, and Annie Everts of Pattison, Elizabeth Carroll of Monahans; brother, Ray Redmon of Pusan, Korea, Bill Redmon of Monahans, Leroy Redmon of Odessa and Richard Coss of Columbus, Georgia; and Christi Wells of Dallas, TX, and Russ Wells of Austin, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jimmy Redmon and a sister, Mildred Stein, son, Jerry Wells, Midland, TX and grandson, Jason Wells, also of Midland, TX.
