- Armando B. Reyes, 61, of Big Spring, died on Monday, March 8, 2010, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with Eddy Pitchford, minister of Coahoma Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM, Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the funeral home.
He was born on November 20, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas and grew up moving around with his father who was in the United States Air Force. Armando loved to play with his grandchildren, loved good food and music, was always a joker and had a nickname for everyone, and he loved to laugh.
He was a member of the Coahoma Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Megan Summers and husband David, Amanda Nicole Reyes and husband Rocky Sanchez and Carol Dyer and husband, Richard all of Big Spring; a step son, Raymond Duran of Amarillo; the mother of his children, Carol Scott of Big Spring; a brother, Kenneth Spang of San Antonio; five sisters, Elida Garcia, Carmen Ramos, Nita Salisbury, Susan Cunningham and Shirley Siloteo all of San Antonio; eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. and Viviana Reyes; one son, Michael Anthony Reyes and two brothers, Jesse Guerrero and Richard Guerrero.
